ACCESS Education Beyond provides all things about international education for Indonesian students that it's established by the Putera Sampoerna Foundation.

Even yesterday ACCESS have opened the education fair in Sampoerna Strategic Square, Sudirman.

A good news is we still have it till now..

A Letter For New Friends

Dear New Friends,

In this new college, I found you all to be my friends.

At first, I never think that it will be nice.

Full of fear, shame, and also mystery.

Sometimes it looks like wasting time.

Is it terrible?

Then I tried to adapt all new situation.

I need a bravery to do it.

Because when you feel comfort with your zone,

then you know that you must change it,

It's not an easy thing.

Trying to be an open-minded.

It's the key.

You will know that it's a very nice thing to have new friends.

You will find something that you haven't known, you haven't heard, you haven't seen yet!

It's from you, my new friends.

No longer then, you will find also your good friend.
All friends are good :)

What I mean is about a friend who is able to understand each other.

You may say it as best friend.

But actually your best friend is not only yours.

Your best friend can be others' best friend.

And it's okay.

Your friend is not to be owned.

It's for completing your life.

Sometimes you will be touched by how kind is your friend.

A kindness that you will never know.

A kindness that you will never think before.

A kindness that you need to have.

Actually today I do not think that it will be a good day..

though it's my birthday.

I just feel that my birthday is not important for others to know,

sometimes I think, others' birthday is more important than mine..

It's true!

In the morning, when I was in college,

my friends only give me a sweet greeting..

"Happy birthday, Merry.."

Ok, I am so happy, but.. then what?

I don't think that it's nice.

It's disturbing, ch ch ch..

I don't know why..

Other people think that it's nice to hear it when we celebrate birthday.

But I am not.

In the end of this day, I mean when I want to go home..

My three sweet friends give me sweet presents.

It's not about the present!

It's about how cares your friend with you..

They are the ones who pay attention with you!

It's sweet!

I got a sweet ribbon, a sweet princess glass, and a book..

At least 310 people were killed, 350 missing and 544 people injured by the 8.9 magnitude earthquake that hit Japan in the afternoon.

The death toll includes 200-300 people killed was found in the city of Sendai, said local police spokesman as reported by AFP on Friday (March 11, 2011) 

Previously, about 200-300 bodies were found around the coast in the city of Sendai, Japan.

The news agency Kyodo and Jiji Press said the bodies were found in the area Wakabayashi, Sendai, following the massive earthquake that eventually cause a tsunami.

This disaster shocked everyone in this world.

Japan previously safe and peaceful, suddenly destroyed!

Though we know that Japan is a very good country which is able to control this situation better than other countries..

It's still a very big disaster.

There is no one who wants to know this disaster!

The Japanese archipelago is located in an area where several continental and oceanic plates meet. This is the cause of frequent earthquakes and the presence of many volcanoes and hot springs across Japan. If earthquakes occur below or close to the ocean, they may trigger tidal waves (tsunami).

God is Good

Everyone is familiar with these words :)

Not only that..

Everyone will also admit with pleasure that it's true!

Hm, after knowing that God is good, so what?

How about ourselves?

Are we good?

Am I good?

Answer this thing only to ourselves.

In one side, be confident is one of good characters of human's self.

So don't worry with yourself.

If you say that you are good. I believe it's true.

If you say that you are not good. It's only because you are so humble.

Everyone is good. Even great!

Because we are created by Him, Our God.

Well, now.. How if we have another thought about this one for a while.

I've ever read this quote..

"I am good, but not as good as I could or should be"

It's great, isn't it?

It has a big meaning that actually each of us has a big talent.

We just need to do our best.

Because sometimes, most people have satisfied with what they have, what they are for now.

Why don't we think that actually God has created us to do a big thing in this world..

Let's do something that it's a good of you.

Let's do something that it's what we should be :)

How about doing something that sometimes we thought it's good for us?

Such as lying for a good cause..

Each of us certainly ever did this thing.

Hm, may we do it constantly?

If the situation insist us to do it, I think we'll think that it's good for us.

How about God? Is it good for God?

My teacher in Junior High School taught me 'Though, it's a small or big sin. It's still a sin for us'

Everything that it's good for us, sometimes we still have to consider whether it's good or not for God.

Considering it is a good, because we live to serve Him, to serve God.

Honestly... my answer is... "Yeah, I think so."

Recently, Indonesia faces full of news about NO HOLLYWOOD FILMS anymore..

Ya! Hollywood decided to stop distributing Hollywood films in Indonesia.

Hollywood's decision represented by the MPAA (Motion Picture Association of America) took the decision as a protest to the government policies of Indonesia, especially Directorate General of Customs, which charged import duty on imported film distribution rights.

Hollywood will not distribute their films production in Indonesia if the Directorate General of Taxes of Indonesia is not good, and Hollywood's decision shall come into force since Thursday, February 17, 2011. While the film is already in playing, will be withdrawn from circulation.

Ooh, my goodness.. It's really bad actually!

It's same with these words, "Ada Uang Tayang, Tak Ada Uang Tak Tayang"

What's wrong with you, Mr. Directorate General?

Can't we have a little pleasure?

Hollywood film always gives us a new inspiration for ourselves..
